Ben is in a flurry of excitement as he rushes to get ready for the first day of baseball practice. In his haste, he leaves his room a mess and breakfast dishes scattered around the kitchen. His parents explain to him that, while they are glad that he loves to play baseball, one way he can thank God for giving him a strong, healthy body is to use it to help his family at home. His parents remind him that they depend on his help, and Ben decides that he will remember to do what he can to serve God through his daily chores.

Ben’s Baseball Excitement is an affirming tale that shows young readers the value of the contributions they make to family life. This endearing story is sure to appeal to both parents and children as a positive example of how we can all serve the Lord through thoughtful actions and behavior.
