ABOUT THE AUTHOR A native of the Philippines, Stacy Azcueta Sabio is an educator of rich and varied experience. As a member of the Peace Corps, she taught modern mathematics in her native land. In addition to her teaching credentials, Ms. Sabio holds a B.A. in guidance and counseling. Now living in California, she has thirty-two years of teaching experience in special education, successfully mainstreaming some one hundred six-to-seven-year old students.
