She has an AB degree from Chestnut Hill College in Pennsylvania. She is a retired teacher, dancing teacher, and school librarian, having taught in Middletown, Freehold, and Ocean Township, New Jersey. She has five children: Richard, Ronald, Roger, Rosemary, and Ruthann. Ruth was a member of the Teachers Association, PTA, the Library Association, Lionettes, and Dance Masters of America. She also enjoys reading, swimming, dancing, needlework, and cooking. This is her first published book. (2006, paperback, 32 pages)
