As a member of the Baby Boom generation, Mr. Stiklaitis came to appreciate the unique characteristics of his childhood, shaped in many ways by the multi-generational relationships he formed. Here, he details the lives of two families, intertwined through marriage and connected by the sense of community that grew up around American immigrants of the time.
