Product Overview

by Adrien Balzano From Out of Red Hook depicts the trials and tribulations faced by the DelFinnis, an Italian-American family living in the heart of South Brooklyn during the late 1970s, who must conceal an enormous secret in order to save the life of an abused teenage girl. The neighborhood takes no backseat to the other main characters in this urban/ethnic thriller. It lives and creates an atmosphere that is familiar, amusing, heartwarming, and sometimes violent. The characters in this multifaceted story take on a uniqueness that carries a certain tone, enticing the reader to keep turning the page. Once youve met them, you understand who they are, what distinguishes them, but moreover, what binds them together and to the rest of us. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Adrien Balzano graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in art and studied graphic design at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale.
