Lack of Support for Injury Workers

General Motors Corporation employed Vermel Thornhill from 1972 to 2000. On August 18, 2000, he was rear ended by a Hi-Lo at the General Motors Detroit Hamtramck Plant, rendering him completely and permanently disabled.

Although the incident was physically traumatizing for Vermel, the events that followed as he attempted to collect Workers Disability Compensation were nothing short of distressing.
