She was caught up in the horror of war and Nazi death camps, including two years in Auschwitz. She was liberated in May 1945. Her remarkable personal odyssey has taken her on a journey from Poland to Germany, Prague, London, New York and Philadelphia. Nina is the sole survivor of her immediate family and as a lonely, nave girl she searched for the meaning of her unlikely survival.
