The Oblique Nonsense of It All; A Probing Look at the Literal Meaning of Fascism
by George Curletto

When Benito Mussolini introduced his National Fascist Party, it set about historical events that would lead not only to his fall, but the corruption of a wordor a conceptthat once stood for noble human ideal.

Who among politicians today would be brave to attach the word fascist to his party? Yet fascism is not the monster word that most have made it to be.

In The Oblique Nonsense of It All: A Probing Look at the Literal Meaning of Fascism, George Curletto makes a passionate call to reexamine the nature and the roots of this much-maligned word.

What he presents in an exceedingly voluminous work would surprise perhaps even the most diehard opponents of this idea.

About the Author:

A native of Genova, Italy, George Curletto moved to the United States in 1963, where he continues his career in music. Aside from being a professional musician and composer, he is also an inventor. During his free time, he enjoys painting, reading, and writing poetry.
