Meet Desma Douglas, one such courageous soul who has come forward with a horrifying tale of incest and abuse at the hands of her own natural father. Although she has not come through her ordeal totally unscathed, she feels blessed that she has survived and has three beautiful sons despite all her hardship. She gives credit to God for helping her to find the way out of this nightmare, and now wishes to share her inspirational story with others who may have faced similar experiences.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: The mother of three young sons – Tony, John, and Larry – Desma Douglas presently lives with them in Flint, Michigan, where she enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and working on projects from the ground up.
